Join American Legion Post 200

Become part of a Wallis tradition of service, fellowship, and advocacy for veterans.

Joining Post 200 connects you to a brotherhood and sisterhood of veterans who serve Wallis and the surrounding counties. Membership strengthens the programs that support local veterans, students, and families — and gives you a place to belong.

Who Is Eligible

If you served at least one day of active duty since World War II and were honorably discharged or are still serving, you are eligible for American Legion membership. If you are not sure whether you qualify, ask us — we will help you check.

  • Honorably discharged veterans and current service members
  • All branches: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Space Guard
  • Family members may be eligible for the Auxiliary or Sons of The American Legion

How to Get Started

Complete the membership form on the main Post 200 website, or come to a meeting and a member will sign you up in person. Bring your DD-214 if you have it handy, though it is not required to begin the conversation.
